Full Time Roles

Childrens and Families Pastor

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic and experienced Children and Families Pastor to join our team.

St Paul's Hammersmith is a large vibrant urban church planted from Holy Trinity Brompton, and is made up of St Paul's Church and St Paul's Centre, an award winning commercial venue centre and cafe. We are now at our next stage of development and we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Children and Families Pastor. The successful candidate will be a ‘hands on’, dynamic, experienced Children and Family Church Leader with a deep commitment to the Word and a strong relationship with God.

Reporting through to the Assistant Pastor and working with the Ministry Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of all children and families activities on Sundays including CityKids Church and Worship For Everyone Services. You will be also responsible for scoping our families strategy to include leading on all community based family projects including building the relationship with St Paul’s School, community outreach programs such as Bumps and Babies as well as implementing and managing holiday clubs and other outreach initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a proven track record as a leader as well as experience and passion for working with children and families. This role requires a confident hands-on manager and team builder who can lead and develop an energetic team of volunteers who provide key resources across the ministries and parish. You will be able to deal with a variety of people with conflicting demands using strong organisational and communication skills. You will be self-motivated, takes initiative and be an active team player.Pastoral understanding and sensitivity in this area is a must.

Children and Families Pastor Job Description


Head of HR and Resourcing

St Paul’s Hammersmith is a large vibrant urban church planted from Holy Trinity Brompton, and is made up of St Paul's Church and St Paul's Centre, an award winning commercial venue centre and cafe. The successful candidate will be a ‘hands on’, dynamic, experienced human resources professional who will scope and lead the people strategy for our Church and Centre staff across all sites including volunteers. You will be passionate about supporting and developing our culture of community, discipleship and our vision in line with our Christian ethos and values. This will include leading on our Learning and Development strategy for all staff and volunteers. 

Reporting through to the Senior Vicar and working across all departments, and the Parish Church Committee, you will be able to lead, coach and contribute to the smooth running of the day to day operations and also to the strategic development of the organisation, ensuring that we are able to grow and deliver against our strategic priorities and mission. 

Your strong knowledge of HR legislation and policies and also your keen eye for detail will help you to advise and support our strategy and plans. You will have proven line management, senior leadership and relationship building skills and experience, and will be able to balance and work through competing priorities working effectively across functions and with a diversity of people.

The successful candidate will be a member of St Paul’s Hammersmith or be looking to become a member of the Church and hold UK residence

TLG Volunteers

TLG Needs You! Are you passionate about young people? Are you looking to play a significant role in the life of our vibrant and exciting School Provision in West London? TLG Hammersmith is an alternative education centre which aims to provide a second chance to all vulnerable young people who have been excluded from school or who are at crisis point in their education. With intensive support staff and volunteers engage students on pathways to learning with accredited outcomes, enabling them to get back on track with their education 

We have a number of opportunities for volunteers to get involved across our different subject areas and enrichment activities and looking for a few more male volunteers to help once or twice a week in either the mornings or afternoons. 

We are specifically looking for volunteers in the following areas:


We are keen to hear from volunteers who have some experience in challenging and supporting to modify negative behaviours and social issues that many of our young people experience.

Our internship programme seeks to invest in an individual who joins our team on a short-term basis. We give the opportunity to experience first hand the ministry areas the intern is interested in with a set job description. You will be assigned a line manager and experienced practitioner from their particular ministry area who will support you through training on the job. The St Paul's Internship Programme creates opportunities to experience the diversity of church life in heart of central London.
